Prefabricated Houses in Earthquake-struck Areas

People who live in areas recently hit by earthquakes are turning their attention to prefabricated homes.

Prefabricated homes may be a good option for individuals whose home and property have been severely damaged or destroyed by an earthquake.

Prefab homes can be quickly put together and installed.

In fact, they can be assembled in a matter of days, though it can take up to a few weeks, depending on who is assembling and installing it.

The Home Innovation Village, a Christchurch village that includes many prefab homes, is located at the Canterbury Agricultural Park was created by PrefabNZ, a promoter of prefabrication homes.

As discussed in a Stuff.co.nz article, 2000 or more visitors recently visited the area to check out the homes.
