Green architects are looking to change the face of modular housing. Gone are the days of boring and basic modular design (though you can still certainly find such homes).
In their place, as discussed here, green architects and designers are creating homes that look great, are environmentally friendly and yes, modular, a pretty cool combination when it is pulled off correctly. Bonneville Homes is one of the leaders in green, modular housing.
Based in Quebec, Bonneville Homes has built more than 35,000 homes and has been in business since 1977. Each home’s parts are constructed in Beloeil, near Montreal, and then shipped via flatbed trucks to the assembly location. The company is currently the largest modular housing builder in Eastern Canada.
