There are plans to assemble prefab homes at Atlantic Yards. There are some questions, however, concerning whether or not they will look as good, or at least like they fit amongst Brownstone Brooklyn.

Prefabricated buildings are being considered because they are cheaper than traditionally built homes. However, there are those that while they understand the savings, aren’t convinced that the buildings will be attractive and designed well enough to fit into the area.

Some people suspect that the buildings will look cheap and that their architecture will be lacking and look out-of-place. It looks like everyone will simply have to wait and see. With the advancement in prefab buildings, critics just might be pleasantly surprised.
